I hope you are all staying warm on this chilly January day.
On Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7 PM Minnesotans will gather together in their local schools and government centers to exercise one of our most important rights: the right to organize and express ourselves politically through the precinct caucus system. Precinct caucuses mark the beginning of the campaign season in our great state and this is the opportunity to get involved at the grassroots.
Please plan on attending your local caucus. If you don’t know where your precinct meets please go to the Minnesota Republican Party website to find your caucus location. http://mngop.com/inner.asp?z=16
This year’s elections are critical for our state and federal government. As we have seen in the elections in New Jersey, Virginia, and Massachusetts people are rejecting the big government ideas of the left. The people of this country know what freedom is and have proven this past year that they plan on keeping our country free. We have an opportunity here in Minnesota to also reject the over regulation, overspending and taxation that is making it difficult for hard working Minnesotans to enjoy the prosperity that was intended when this great country was founded.
Attending your local caucus is the first step in being involved in deciding who will be endorsed as your candidate in November’s general election.
I highly encourage you all to attend and to please become delegates for Gretchen Hoffman. Your support is crucial for victory in November! I will be a strong voice for Senate District 10 in our state legislature.
So, please mark your calendars and plan to attend your precinct caucus. It’s fun and easy!
This is the kick-off of a very exciting campaign season. Conservatism is on the ascendancy and now is the time to let your voices be heard!
